The site keeps a log of the total number page views, but that is not tied to individuals. If you are a guest on this site, The site does NOT track anything about you.

If you are a logged-in user, the site will track your usage of some elements of the site that so that I can ensure it does not exceed certain boundaries.

For the Maps element: In order to stay under the usage limits for geocoding the site will keep track of how many records you submit that require geocoding. (That counter re-sets every so often.) If you bump up against the limit, you will be notified.

For the Notebook element: The site will track the total size of your data to ensure it does not exceed the site's file storage capacity. If your usage approaches the limit, you will be notified.

Cookies: The site does not use cookies for any purpose.
